What is planned

Canadian, domestic, in dollars

The first phase is planned for Canadian dollars, inside Canada only, for adults in British Columbia first.

Every payment approved by the sender

A tap or a request can start a payment, but it never authorizes one. The sender reviews and explicitly approves every transfer.

Built with regulated partners

Real money movement will only ever run through regulated Canadian payment partners, after the required registrations and reviews are complete.

Where it stands

Zoom Transfer is in the design and partner review stage. Provider and regulatory questions are being worked through before any launch decision. Timelines and fees are not set, and nothing is promised until the service is properly licensed and ready.
